Cathy’s in-laws were Harry Einstein, a comedian best known for portraying Parkyakarkus in radio and film, and Thelma Leeds, an actress and singer. The LA Times stated on October 24, 1949, that Cathy’s husband had suffered polio at the age of six. Albert Brooks, a writer and comedian, is his younger brother (born Albert Lawrence Einstein). Cathy’s husband, Bob, graduated from Chapman College in 1965.

He also played the rude district selectman, Tony Deloge, in the Comedy Central series Crank Yankers. Einstein performed at the Century Club with Adam and Jimmy on The Man Show. In Ocean’s Thirteen, he portrayed Bobby Caldwell, the father of Linus Caldwell, a master thief and con man who works as an FBI agent during the day.
