- The Burson Center opened on July 6, 2006 after five years of planning, fundraising and construction. The project was made possible hrough the generous contributions of Dr. John Burson, who donated the building to Carroll Tomorrow, and the commitment of the Carroll County Development Authority, City of Carrollton Payroll Development Authority, the Economic Development Administration, Appalachian Regional Commission and the One Georgia Authority.
